Remove or correct a listing

If you own the site, you decide. Ask us to remove your domain and we will remove it. No reason required, no charge, no attempt to talk you out of it. Removed domains go on a permanent opt-out list, so yours will not reappear the next time we refresh the data. Nobody should have to ask twice.
Who this page is for
List of Websites Using records which advertising technology has been detected on which websites, using the publicly published advertising configuration that sites themselves hold out for advertisers to read. Most publishers have no problem with that. Some do, and that is entirely their call. It is their website.
Use this page if you own or operate a listed site and want the entry corrected, updated or removed altogether.
What to send us
The more of this you include, the more likely we can act on your first message instead of writing back to ask:
- The domain, exactly as it appears in the listing.
- Which you want: a correction, or full removal.
- If it is a correction: what the row says now and what it should say. "Listed under Ezoic, we moved to Raptive in June" is perfect.
- Something that connects you to the domain. An email at the domain is easiest. If you cannot send from one, tell us. A note we can temporarily see on the site works, and so does a DNS TXT record.
We ask for that last one for your protection, not to obstruct you: acting on an unverified removal request would mean a competitor could quietly delete your listing, and we are not willing to build that hole into the process. It is a light check, not a legal hurdle.

What "removed" actually means
We think you are entitled to know exactly what we do, rather than a vague assurance:
- The listing is deleted from the database, and from every network list and niche page it appeared on, not just the one you spotted.
- The domain is added to a permanent opt-out list. Our import process reads that list before it writes anything, so the domain is skipped on every future refresh. This is the part that means you only ask once.
- The domain is not counted in any total, and does not appear in any export, including exports by paying subscribers.
- We keep only the domain and the fact that it opted out, the minimum needed to honour your request. We do not keep the listing data.
One honest limitation: search engines and third-party archives may hold a cached copy of a page for some time after we change it. We cannot flush someone else's cache. It clears on its own as they re-crawl.
If you would rather correct than remove
We would too. An out-of-date row is a problem for you and an accuracy problem for us, so a correction fixes both. It also keeps your site visible to the agencies and advertisers who use this directory to find publishers in your niche. If you have switched networks, telling us is useful and we are glad to hear it.

Questions we are asked most
Do I have to give a reason to have my site removed?
No. If you own the domain and you ask us to remove it, we remove it. We do not ask you to justify the request or to prove a legal basis.
Is there a charge to be removed from the directory?
No. Removal is free and always will be. We also do not accept payment to add a site, move it up a list, or keep it listed.
Will my site come back the next time you update the data?
No. A removed domain is added to a permanent opt-out list that the import process checks before writing anything, so it is skipped on every future update. You only have to ask once.
How long does a removal take?
Most are done within two working days, and we commit to acting within 30 days. Search engines may hold a cached copy of the old page for a while afterwards, which is outside our control.
My site is listed under the wrong ad network. Can you fix it?
Yes, and we would rather correct the record than delete it. Tell us which network is wrong and which is right, and we will check it and update the row.
Legal requests
You are welcome to have a lawyer write to us, but you do not need one and it will not make the process faster. A plain email from the site owner gets exactly the same outcome.
